Once entering the bunker through the West entrance, there is a
passage to the right. It has been covered over with concrete and
a cardboard V2 rocket to show its size. The passage originally
gave access to the lower parts of the main bunker which are inaccessible
since they are flooded. Supposedly, the V2 rockets would have
been brought through the passages (this one and a similar one
at the East side) to the launch piers outside. But there is no
concluding evidence that this was the plan. Even more so, there
are no holes in the concrete through which the rockets would have
been moved outdoors. It is thus more likely that the rockets would
have been launched from two launch silos at the northern section
(now filled with water), directly adjacent to the main bunker.
